His reasoning for this was because white, round indicators had turned red on the interior of the Macbook, which do so when they are exposed to water. The technician took the unit into the back, and then came back claiming that the Macbook had been damaged by water. Going undercover, CBS’ journalist presented a MacBook computer whose screen was so dim it was almost black to the Genius Bar, a common problem with Macbooks. Can you imagine that?
